My painting today carries along influences which stem from various creative encounterings.

Based in Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean. I am driven by the different aspects and
complexity of society, culture and identity through my paintings, I tell a story which is built upon those questions and doings.

I long thought that I had a preferred style or medium but I understand, now, that the story triggers change in the course of the creative output.
And I created a character, Toudim ( Tou Dimounn) who is the main narrator.
